Ok, so yesterday I went back to MHS because I had been getting calls from Ms.Goss and Jordan that they needed help with the yearbook again. They had warned me about the staff and still, I had no idea until I got there, how bad it really was. I happened to catch a glimpse of the grades on the computer and saw almost all F's. The class was awful and flat out said they didn't care about their grades and didn't care if the work got done.

I spent the day on campus taking pictures of classes (such as Chorus, Agriculture, Social Studies, etc. ) and helping Ms.Goss and Jordan, the current Editor-in-Chief, finish the pages that the rest of the staff wouldn't do.

It almost brought tears to my eyes to see how bad it really was yesterday. I thought I knew, but things are worse than I had anticipated. 64 Pages, due in a week...a dreadful deadline.

As I was working on one of the pages, Ms.Goss said to me, "Joe, every day that you're not in here I realize more and more of what you really did." I smiled. I mean after all, I can't just sit back and do nothing to help them out if they need help.

As we grew tired of correcting the poor journalism of the pages and the not-so-great photography, Ms.Goss offered to take Jordan and myself out to dinner at Moe's with her and her husband. It would be the first time I'd meet Mr.Goss even though I almost felt like I had already known him because of the late nights I'd spend at school last year and Ms.Goss and I would talk to each other and she'd tell me about him.

At the end of the evening, Jordan drove me home and thanked me for coming in. "See you tomorrow." she said, and left.
